We have several current opportunities for which we are seeking qualified applicants. They include full-time employment, a part-time contractor position, and two full-time temporary fellowships. - JC Woodley Memorial Fellowship for Storytelling in Environmental Justice (Remote) – This fellowship opportunity is a 12 week fixed-length project, full-time (35 hours per week) and Fellows will be paid a livable wage of $18.00 per hour for their work. Our Documentary Fellow will do three things: 1) create a video documentary project, 2) connect and build relationships with impacted community members across the South, and 3) mentor high school students from Black Student Unions in a summer course.
- Dr. Luis Contreras Memorial Fellowship for Storytelling in Environmental Justice (Remote) – This fellowship opportunity is a 12 week fixed-length project, full-time (35 hours per week) and Fellows will be paid a livable wage of $18.00 per hour for their work. Our Dr. Contreras Fellow will create a multimedia web project showcasing a story from an impacted community in the South, and present the project in multiple venues.

At Dogwood Alliance, not only do we cherish our interns, but we also count on our volunteers to help us make a big impact for Southern forests and communities.
